We want everyone to be able to use phonebook.directory, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, magnification, or other assistive technology.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
In October 2026 we checked the whole site: signing up, your listing and its editor, search and browse, your phonebook and directories, messages, organization pages, account settings, and choosing, paying for, canceling or deleting a plan or account, on phones and computers, in light and dark mode and in every Personal Plus theme. As far as we know it meets WCAG 2.2 AA, and automated tests check it every time the site changes.
We checked with automated tools and with a keyboard, but not yet with a screen reader on a real phone, such as VoiceOver on an iPhone or TalkBack on Android. If something doesn’t work with yours, tell us.
Payments and the identity check take place on pages run by Stripe and Didit, and their accessibility is up to them. If you can’t complete either one, tell us and we’ll help.
If something doesn’t work for you, write to support@phonebook.directory. Tell us the page and what went wrong. We’ll answer within 5 business days.
We can send any of our legal pages to you as plain text by email.
