If you believe something on phonebook.directory uses your copyrighted work without permission, send a notice to our copyright agent and we will remove it.
Our copyright agent: Copyright Agent, Phonebook Directory LLC, 6545 Market Ave. North STE 100, Canton, OH 44721, 937-936-2284, takedown@phonebook.directory.
A notice needs: your signature (typing your full name is enough); the work you believe is infringed; where it is on phonebook.directory (a link to the listing is best); how to reach you; a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and a statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
We remove the material and tell the member who posted it that it was removed and why.
If you posted it and believe it was removed by mistake, you can send a counter-notice to the same agent with: your signature; what was removed and where it was; a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification; and your name, address and phone number, with a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, outside the United States, any district where we may be found) and will accept service from the person who sent the notice. We send it to that person and put the material back in 10 to 14 business days, unless they tell us they have gone to court.
We close the accounts of members who repeatedly post material that infringes someone else’s copyright.
Knowingly misrepresenting that material infringes, or that it was removed by mistake, can make you liable for damages (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)).
